ZP meeting postponed due to lack of quorum

KARIMNAGAR: The Zilla Parishad general body meeting was postponed due to a lack of quorum on Sunday.
ZP chairperson K Vijaya had convened the general body meeting at 11 am on Sunday and after waiting for about half an hour she announced the postponement of the meeting as there was no quorum and the ZPTC members had not turned up for the meeting.
She said that she would announce the fresh date for the conduct of the general body meeting after taking the convenient time of Minister for Civil Supplies Gangula Kamalakar.
On this occasion, the ZP chairperson had felicitated the new ZP CEO Priyanka, who took charge a few days ago, by presenting her with a bouquet and shawl.
