World heart day marked with felicitations of doctors and health awareness

KARIMNAGAR: The Satavahana Lions Club celebrated the World Heart day on Wednesday by organizing a health awareness programme and felicitating eminent doctors of Karimnagar town.
At a programme organized at Alphores educational institutions central office in Karimnagar town, Alphores educational institutions chairman and Satavahana Lions club president V Narender Reddy and others felicitated doctors L Ravikanth, L Sesha Shailaja, Suresh and Chaitanya by presenting them with a shawl and memento.
On this occasion, Mr Narender Reddy called upon the people priority for the health of individuals by following strict diet and according time for physical exercises. Stating that health is wealth, he informed the people to follow the doctors advice and not to resort to self-medication.
Dr Sesha Shailaja said that the outbreak of deadly virus had cautioned the people to eat healthy and exercise for a healthy living. She informed the parents to provide nutritional food to the children and shun junk food. Lions Ramesh, Manohara Chary, M Satyanarayana Rao, Arvind Babu and others were also present.
