World AIDS day celebrated at Satavahana University
KARIMNAGAR: The National Service Scheme (NSS) wing of Satavahana University in association with the Karimnagar District AIDS prevention and control unit has organised the World AIDS celebrations at the university campus on Wednesday.
On this occasion, Additional DM&HO Dr G Sujatha handed over prizes to the essay writing competition winners of the Red Ribbon clubs (RRC) of various colleges of the university. She called upon the students to play a responsibility in educating the people about the dreaded AIDS disease and preventing its further spread. Registrar Varaprasad, NSS coordinator K Srivani, district programme manager Surender Reddy and others were also present.
