Vaccinate all above 18 years of age in rural areas, Collector Sikta Patnaik

ADILABAD: Collector Sikta Patnaik has informed the officials to educate and ensure that all the persons, who had attained the age of 18 years, should be inoculated to check the spread of the Covid-19 virus in the rural areas.
The Collector made a surprise inspection to the Ankola village to inspect the primary health centre, Anganwadi centre and Palle prakruthi vanam in Adilabad rural mandal on Monday. At the PHC, she inspected the attendance register, records and inquired about the staff particulars and their duties including deputation to other places etc.
At the Anganwadi centre, she inspected the kitchen, storeroom stocks and inquired about the children. She informed the authorities to see that the children visit the Anganwadi centres regularly and provide them with the required nutritional supplement food. She also directed the authorities to develop a kitchen garden at all Anganwadi centres. She educated the sarpanch Bhumanna to ensure that the persons, who attained 18 years of age, were vaccinated in the village.
She also visited the Palle prakruthi vanam and instructed the authorities to take up the pruning of the plants for its proper growth. She also inquired about the sanitation activities in the village with the sarpanch. District welfare officer Milka and others were also present.
