UBI launches Forex services in Karimnagar

KARIMNAGAR: In order to provide prompt and efficient services to importers and exporters, the Union Bank of India (UBI) has formally launched the Forex hub at its main branch in Karimnagar town on Thursday.

UBI Mumbai central office general manager (TB&DFB) SV Biju, UBI field general manager Hyderabad Kabir Battacharya, UBI Regional Head Karimnagar M Arun Kumar, UBI assistant general manager (TB&DFB) Mumbai Rajesh Pillai, Assistant general manager Karimnagar T Vamshi Krishna and others participated in the programme.

Incidentally, the UBI is the first bank to offer Forex services to the customers in the integrated Karimnagar district. It would benefit the fast growing Karimnagar district especially the granite, food grain traders, cotton and ginning industry and other exporters.

On this occasion, the UBI had also organised an exporters’ meet and interacted with the customers doing export of various products such as granite, food grains etc. The UBI officials had also explained to the customers about the services offered by the Forex hub at the UBI main branch.
