UBI gifts sanitary napkin vending machine to girls’ hostel of SRR Govt College
KARIMNAGAR, OCTOBER 02, 2023: As part of Corporate Social Responsibility programme, the Union Bank of India Karimnagar zone distributed sanitary napkin vending machine and incinerator for the benefit of girl students of SRR government arts and science college in Karimnagar town.
On the occasion of birth anniversary celebrations of Mahatma Gandhi, District senior civil judge M Aruna handed over the vending machine and incinerator. On this occasion, she called upon the students to utilize the available opportunities and excel in their chosen career. She also empowered the girl students on importance of health and hygiene.
UBI regional head Aparna Reddy empowered the girl students about the importance of economic independence. She also enlightened the students about the special services being provided for the women and girls for their economic empowerment activities in the UBI. Deputy regional manager PV Athmaram, SRR college principal K Ramakrishna, DD (social welfare) Nathaniel and others were also present.
