KARIMNAGAR: The Telangana State Teachers Union (TSTU) state unit has demanded that the state government should put all the details about the allocation of teachers to various districts as per GO 317 in public domain (online) to ensure transparency.

In a press note here today, TSTU state president Mohd Abdulla and general secretary Chanduri Raji Reddy alleged that there were large-scale irregularities in the preparation of seniority list of the teachers in the state. Instead of clarifying the doubts raised by the teachers, the government had issued the transfer orders, they stated and flayed the government for not considering the seniority list as per the DSC rank.
They also found fault with the government for instructing the freshly transferred teachers to report to their new place of posting immediately in the middle of the academic year. They said that the immediate transfer of teachers would affect the academics of the students and also displaced their families and children.
They urged the government to ensure that the transferred teachers were continued at the existing place of posting till the completion of this academic year 2021-2022 and instruct the teachers to report at their new place of postings only in the new academic year.
