TSPCB official praises NTPC Ramagundam for its eco-friendly measures

PEDDAPALLI:  Telangana State Pollution Control Board (TSPCB) Ramagundam regional office Environmental Engineer K Ravi Das praised the NTPC Ramagundam for its environment-friendly initiatives such as plantation of saplings in and around the plant area also reusing the wastewater after treatment etc.

Mr Das was participating in the World Environment day celebrations organized by NTPC Ramagundam on Sunday (June 5). On this occasion, the authorities had organized an environment walk, plantation of saplings and the students of Bal bhavan performed a skit about the importance of protecting the environment from pollution.

Underlining the importance of restoring the ecosystem, the TSPCB engineer appreciated the NTPC for adopting new technologies which have helped in minimizing the negative impact on the environment in the vicinity of Ramagundam.

General Manager (Project) Prasenjit Pal emphasized adopting all possible steps to conserve natural resources for the future generation and encouraged the gathering to take all possible steps to keep the mother earth clean, beautiful & pollution-free. He also urged to solve the environmental issues by implementing some positive environmental actions. The GMs, heads of departments, members of NTPC Ramagundam Mazdoor Union and others were also present.
