KARIMNAGAR: Mr Konduru Ravinder Rao, chairman of NAFSCOB, TSCAB and Karimnagar DCCB, has called upon the employees to rededicate to the cause of farming community and the customers and strengthen the cooperative sector.
Speaking after hoisting the tri-colour on the occasion of 74th Republic Day celebrations at the DCCB main branch in Karimnagar town on Thursday (January 26, 2023), Mr Rao said that Telangana state under the leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao had announced new HR policy for the strengthening of PACS, which were the pillars of the cooperative movement. He said that the HR policy would provide job security to the staff of the PACS and would get new pay scales.
Favouring the three-tier system in the cooperatives, he said that the Union government which had introduced a Ministry of Cooperation was also supporting the cause of 3-tier system in the country. He said that the government should provide more freedom to the cooperatives without government interference and RBI restrictions should be limited.
He also explained that he had presented his views on Multi-State Cooperative Societies (MSCS) amendment act before the Joint parliament committee in New Delhi recently for the strengthening of cooperatives which was supported by majority of the JPC members. District cooperative officer (DCO) Srimala informed the DCCB, which has emerged as number cooperative bank in the country to continue its winning streak and same spirit.
