TS Govt constitutes PRC, announces 5 per cent Interim Relief
HYDERABAD, OCTOBER 02, 2023: Good news to the employees of Telangana state government as Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has given consent for the appointment of new Pay Revision Committee (PRC), which will be chaired by retired IAS officer N Shivashankar and another retired IAS officer B Ramaraiah as its member.
Accordingly, Chief Secretary A Santhi Kumari has issued orders in this regard on Monday evening. The state government has also announced a five person interim relief (IR) to the government employees and also pensioners, which the PRC formulates its recommendations.
In the meantime, the Telangana Udyogula Sangam state Secretary Mohammed Fayyaz Ali has welcomed the appointment of PRC commission by the state government. On the same time, he said that the employees expected 10 to 15 % interim relief [IR] announce by state government. But, the government has disappointed the employees by announcing only 5 percent interim relief. He has demanded that state government should announce the IR of minimum 10%.
