TRSMA president lauds teachers for responding to new challenges with online classes during Covid-19

KARIMNAGAR: The pedagogy of the teaching has changed following the outbreak of the deadly virus, but the teachers have not changed to enable uninterrupted education of students during the Covid induced lockdown by conducting the classes through online and off-line, said Telangana Recognised Schools Management Association (TRSMA) state president Y Shekhar Rao.
As part of the Teachers day celebrations, the district education department had selected TRSMA state president and Valmiki school correspondent Y Shekhar Rao as the best teacher and felicitated him at a function in Karimnagar town on Thursday. MEO Madhusudhana Chary participated as chief guest along with TRTF district president Katkam Ramesh, District Science Officer Jaipal Reddy and others participated in the programme.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Shekhar Rao said that the teachers play a crucial role in the transformation of the student community at the cost of his own life. “Whether it is online or offline, the teachers are always committed to the transformation of the student community. The teacher transforms the life of the student into a colourful life by using only two colours black and white (blackboard and white chalk)”, he pointed out.
He said that a teacher plays several roles for the benefit of the student and ignite their passion for education. He said that the teacher always strives for the well-being of his student come what may. The teacher undergoes several pains and woes, but he will only strive for the wellness of his pupil, he said and added that the teachers faced the new challenge with the introduction of online classes and provided their invaluable contribution towards building a strong and prosperous nation.
