TRS resorting to vengeance politics: Etala Rajender

KARIMNAGAR: Former Minister and TRS rebel Etala Rajender has alleged that the ruling TRS party leaders were resorting to vengeance politics in Huzurabad assembly segment and terrorising his supporters by registering false cases if they use his photographs on their vehicles.
“I had provided employment to around 20 widows in the Huzurabad area hospital to eke out a living on humanitarian grounds. But, they were removed from the service. Similarly, I had purchased an ambulance with my own money and gifted it to the government hospital for the benefit of the people. The authorities had removed my photograph from the ambulance vehicle. Besides, the government had forcibly transferred several officials including police, revenue and others”, he stated.
Participating in a meeting with BJP rank and file in Kamalapur mandal on Tuesday, Mr Rajender said that the government was having power and could change all the officials posted during my tenure. “Ultimately, it’s my people who would vote for me’, he reminded. He called upon the people striving for democratic rights to raise their voice against the government for its undemocratic activities of terrorising the people.
Alleging that the Intelligence police were visiting the visiting the houses of his supporters and threatening them with dire consequences and forcing them to join the TRS, he asked whether the Chief Secretary and the DGP were working as per the Constitutional law. However, he warned the officials of stern action if they do not mend their ways and work as per the law.
Informing the Ministers and others visiting the Huzurabad assembly segment to ask for the votes in a democratic manner, he warned them not to resort to cheap politics of terrorising and blackmailing the people and the elected representatives. “Is it wrong to ask the government for new pensions, new ration cards and the procurement of paddy produce from the farmers”, he questioned.
“When I was thinking about the welfare of the people, the TRS government had made false allegations and dethroned me. They asked me to resign and I had done also. But, Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao was trying to suppressing him and his voice”, he charged. Now hordes of Ministers and legislators were thronging to the Huzurabad segment only to betray the people of the segment, he alleged.
He said that the TRS gimmicks would not work in Huzurabad assembly segment and the people, who actively participated in the statehood movement, would teach a fitting reply to the TRS party.
