TRS felicitates women employees as part of ‘Mahila Bandhu KCR’ programme

KARIMNAGAR: Responding to the call given by the Telangana Rashtra Samithi to celebrate three-day festivities as part of International women’s day as ‘Mahila Bandhu K Chandrashekhar Rao’, the local municipal corporator Kamsala Srinivas had celebrated the women’s day by felicitating the Municipal sanitary workers, ASHA workers , Anganwadi workers and teachers etc for their relentless services to the society in Karimnagar town on Sunday.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Kamsala Srinivas said that women were creators of the universe and they strive hard for the progress and development of the family. Lauding the services of womenfolk in every field, he said that the TRS government had won accolades of the womenfolk by providing several welfare schemes for their welfare.
He said that the Kalyana Lakshmi, Shaadi Mubarrak, Aasara pensions to single women, beedi workers, widows, KCR kits, Bathukamma sarees, the constitution of SHE teams and Bharosa centres etc.
