Traders at RTC bus stations warned against selling more than MRP

KARIMNAGAR:  TSRTC Karimnagar Regional Manager Anchuri Sridhar has launched a surprise inspection of various stalls located on the premises of RTC bus station complex in Karimnagar town on Wednesday.

Following the complaints about the traders selling the products more than MRP and also products and water bottles not permitted, the RTC regional manager inspected the stalls and warned the stall owners of stern action including cancellation of license agreement and seizure of the security deposit amount. The RTC authorities instructed the traders to mend their ways or face serious consequences.

During the inspection, the RTC authorities found that the traders were selling different water bottles not allowed by the RTC management and collecting the charges more than the MRP.  They also found some shops selling duplicate biscuits, stale and contaminated food products. Divisional manager A Ravishankar Reddy, Karimnagar One depot manager P Arpitha, station manager GL Narayana, security officials Ramana, Laxmirajam and Venkat Reddy were also present.
