Telangana PRTU urges govt to consider feeder cadre while preparing seniority list of teachers

KARIMNAGAR:  The PRTU-Telangana state unit has urged the government to consider the feeder cadre while preparing the seniority list of the teachers in the state along with the cadre.

At the PRTU district general body meeting organised in Karimnagar town on Thursday, PRTU Telangana state president Mareddy Anji Reddy said that the government should also consider and accord priority for the locals. Demanding the district educational officers to issue clear-cut for the preparation of seniority list of teachers, he also sought the appointment of a special officer for the finalisation of the seniority list of teachers in the integrated Karimnagar district.

He said that the government should also consider the feeder cadre of the teachers who had come on inter-district transfers added the government should also take up promotions of the teachers at the earliest. In the wake of the increase of students in all government schools, he sought the appointment of vidya volunteers.

Expressing concern over minimal wages to the midday meal workers and extending solidarity to the indefinite strike of the midday meal workers, he demanded the government to fulfil their legitimate demands. He also demanded the appointment of DEOs, deputy DEOs and MEOs in all the newly formed districts. The meeting presided over Karimnagar PRTU-Telangana president Gone Srinivas and general secretary Palle Pati Venugopal Rao, state associate presidents Pathuri Raji Reddy, Cholleti Srinivas and Kethari Tirupathi Reddy, state leaders Atla Srinivas Reddy, Jayender Reddy, Sanjeeva Reddy, Jayasena, Jadi Mahesh and others also attended.
