KARIMNAGAR: Moved over the plight of poor girl students of a government upper primary school, who are unable to attend to the online classes as they do not have a television set or a Smart mobile phone, Thimmapur tahsildar P Rajkumar has donated a mobile phone to enable the students to attend the online classes on Thursday.

Patri Pallavi was studying eighth class and Patri Pavitra fifth class were studying in the Mandal Parishad Upper Primary school in Ramakrishna colony in Thimmapur mandal. Even as the online classes were started, they were unable to get access to them as they do not have a television set or a mobile phone. Their father had abandoned them and their mother was eking out a living by working as a labourer and nurturing her kids.
When this was noticed by the MPUPS school teacher Gayathri, she informed the same to the Thimmapur tahsildar P Rajkumar. Moved over the pathetic conditions of the poor girl students, the tahsildar had purchased the latest Smart phone and handed it over to them on Thursday in his chambers. On this occasion, he informed the girl students to study well and assured them of all assistance for their higher education.
As both the girls were in different classes, they can utilise the mobile phone for their online classes accordingly as they have classes at different timings. The tahsildar had assured the girls to approach him any time for any assistance for their education and informed them to study hard and excel in their careers.
