Spouse of Minister Gangula Kamalakar spice up campaign in Karimnagar
KARIMNAGAR, OCTOBER 16, 2023: It is not just the candidates, who are toiling hard to campaign for the upcoming Assembly elections, but their wives and their other family members are also up against the poll battle as they are leaving no stone unturned to ensure their spouse’s victory in Karimnagar town.
Freshly, Karimnagar MLA and Minister for BC Welfare and Civil Supplies Gangula Kamalakar’s wife Gangula Rajitha and his daughter Jahnavi, his sister-in-law Sharada and others campaigned rigorously in various municipal divisions in Karimnagar town on Monday. Though, the official filing of nominations was yet to begin, the contestants and their family members belonging to the ruling party are ahead of others in the campaigning.
Accordingly, the spouse of Minister for Civil Supplies along with her family members visited various localities in Karimnagar and conducted door to door campaign by applying tilak to the women and appealing them to vote for BRS candidate Gangula Kamalakar for the development of town. This type of campaign by the womenfolk would really ensure that they cover all the electorates of the segment.
Usually, the men campaign a lot by taking rallies organising meetings and conducting street shows, but it is the women is taking care of finer details of campaign by touching each and every household and taking assurance from the voters especially womenfolk. They are working more on the ground level, reaching out to the people who are either not interested in going to a political rally or cannot go for some reason.
