Special voter enrolment drive for pregnant women and lactating mothers from September 12 to 16
KARIMNAGAR: The Election Commission of India has decided to launch a special voter enrolment drive for pregnant women and lactating mothers from September 12 to 16 in the Karimnagar district.
Accordingly, Collector RV Karnan, Additional Collectors GV Shyam Prasad Lal and Garima Agarwal, ZP CEO Priyanka, MEPMA PD Ravinder, DWO K Sabitha and others formally released a poster pertaining to the special voter enrolment drive for pregnant women and lactating mothers in Karimnagar town on Monday (September 12, 2022).
On this occasion, the Collector informed the Anganwadi teachers to play a responsible role in the enrolment of pregnant mothers and lactating mothers. He directed them to ensure that the enrolment was taken with accurate information without any mistakes.
The district welfare officer informed the voters to fill up the form 6B form and link it with the Aadhar card. She informed the Anganwadi teachers and others to ensure that all the women who attained the age of 18 years were enrolled as voters.
