Sircilla doctor bags two gold medals from Health University

RAJANNA-SIRCILLA:  Sircilla town based Dr M Manjusha, who is serving the rural people of the district by working at the Aditya super speciality hospital in the textile town, has bagged two gold medals in the Neurology department from Dr NTR University of Health Sciences during the 22nd and 23rd annual convocation which was conducted on Thursday.

Dr Manjusha bagged the prestigious Dr K Venkateshwarlu gold medal, which is awarded to the best outgoing student in DM (neurology) in the first attempt in the state and Dr Govardhan gold medal in neurology). She studied super speciality in the Gandhi medical college in Secunderabad.

She belongs to MBBS 2004 batch from Kakatiya medical college in Warangal and secured the best student award. She had done her PG in general medicine 2011-2014 and bagged the best of year gold medal. She had done MD (neurology) from 2014-17. Senior resident at NIMS Hyderabad from 2017-18. She is working and serving the rural people in Sircilla textile town.

On this occasion, Dr Manjusha attributed her achievements due to the support extended by her family members, teaching faculty.  Claiming that she was happy to serve the rural masses in the Sircilla textile town, she said that she was planning to conduct medical camps in the villages and provide super speciality treatment at the doorstep of rural masses.
