Singareni taking all steps to check spread of deadly virus: RG-1 general manager

PEDDAPALLI: Management of the Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) is taking all measures to check the deadly virus spread among the coal miners by taking up massive vaccination drives and distribution facemasks, said Ramgundam region-1 general manager K Narayana.

On Sunday, Mr Narayana participated in the 75th Independence Day celebrations at the RG-1 area general manager office in Godavarikhani. He hoisted the tricolour, reviewed the security personnel’s parade, and released tricolour balloons into the air.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that the Singareni management had conducted the Covid tests for all employees and contract staff to check the spread of the virus. He said that they had vaccinated 4495 employees and distributed 55,000 facemasks at the rate of 11 masks to each employee. He said that they had also taken massive tree plantation of the Haritha haram programme.
On this occasion, the General manager had felicitated the nine best employees along with their family members by presenting them with shawls, bouquets and gifts. TGBKS leader M Raji Reddy, Gandra Damodar Rao and Srinivas, Medipalli project officer Satyanarayana, Agents Srinath and Srinivas and others were also present.
