Singareni takes up road diversion at proposed OCP-5

PEDDAPALLI: In the wake of the conversion of GDK-5 incline underground mine into the Open Cast Project-5 in the Godavarikhani coal belt area, the Singareni Collieries Company Limited authorities had taken up the road diversion works at a cost Rs 5.2 crore measuring a length of 1.7 kilometers.

 

Singareni directors S Chandrashekhar (operations), N Balaram (finance) and D Satyanarayana Rao (E&M) and others participated in the inauguration of road diversion plaque in Godavarikhani on Saturday. Speaking on the occasion, they said that they were taking all measures for the development of the road with all safety measures and installation of signboards and informed the two-wheelers to drive on this road by wearing helmets.

 

Ramagundam-1 division area manager K Narayana, TGBKS general secretary M Raji Reddy, vice president Gandra Damodar Rao,CMOAI president P Srinivas, area officers Ramakrishna CV Rao, DGM (personnel) Laxminarayana and others were also present.
