PEDDAPALLI: The Singareni Collieries Company Limited, during a special vaccination drive, had inoculated 4426 persons in various parts of Singareni coal mines in the Telangana state on Sunday.
Following the directions of Singareni chairman and managing director N Sridhar, the Singareni authorities had made arrangements for the mega vaccination programme on Sunday throughout all the coal mines in the north Telangana region of the state. The Singareni had administered the first dose of vaccine to 39,259 and another 199 persons were inoculated on Sunday making it a total of 39,458 (first dose of vaccine).
About 13,301 employees had inoculated with the second dose of vaccine so far and another 2918 persons were administered with a second dose of vaccine making it a total of 16,219 persons inoculated. Similarly, a total of 18,086 persons working as outsourcing staff were given the first dose of vaccine till Sunday and another 1245 persons (outsourcing) had taken the second dose of vaccine.
Singareni Director N Balaram, general manager (coordination) K Suryanarayana and others had supervised the mega vaccination drive throughout the Singareni on Sunday. The vaccination drive was taken up in Ramagundam, Kothagudem, Mandamarri, Bellampalli, Srirampur, Bhupalapalli, Goleti, NTPC and other areas.
