Singareni intensifies dependent employment scheme to provide jobs to miners children

PEDDAPALLI: The Sngareni Collieries Company Limited has intensified the dependent employment scheme by distributing the appointment letters to the dependents (children) of the coal miners in the coal belt region of Ramagundam.
Accordingly, Ramagundam-1 region regional manager K Narayana on Monday handed over appointment letters to 19 dependents following the medical invalidation of the coal miners. Out of a total of 1158 medical invalidation cases in the RG-1 area, the Singareni had provided appointment letters to 830 dependents including 20 women candidates also.
Following the instructions of Singareni chairman and managing director N Sridhar, the authorities had completed the medical invalidation process without any delay. After the coal miners applied to the medical board for the invalidation on health grounds, the authorities had immediately completed the process and provided employment to their dependents.
Out of the 19 candidates, who secured employment orders, 17 were dependent employment and two others compassionate appointments following the death of the miners. All the persons were posted in the RG-1 area and they were informed to update their skills as per the growing trend in the Singareni. TGBKS leaders Gandra Damodar Rao and Tirupathi Reddy, Personnel manager Saleem, senior PO Bangaru Sarangapani, security officer Veera Reddy and others were also present.
