17th Tripartite safety review meeting held at Ramagundam-1

 

PEDDAPALLI: The 17th Tripartite Safety Review meeting of Ramagundam-1 area of the Singareni Collieries Company Limited was organised by the Directorate General of Mines Safety at Yellendu club in Godavarikhani on Tuesday.

The meeting stressed the importance of the safety of the miners and their health and instructed the mining officials to take adequate safety measures in the underground mines and Opencast projects to prevent accidents. The DGMS authorities had instructed the Singareni, which was in its quest for greater productivity, to accord utmost importance for the safety of the miners.

The meeting was presided over by RG-1 general manager K Narayana. DGMS (mining)  Shyam Mishra, DDMS (electrical) Badreep Kumar, DDMS (mining) Banoth Venkanna, recognised trade union vice president Gandra Damodar Rao, general manager (safety) LV Suryanarayana, CMOAI president  P Srinvasu, Area safety officer KV Rao,, DGM (personnel) Laxminarayana, DGM (workshop) Madan Mohan and others were also present.
