Second continuous miner machine introduced at Singareni RG-1 mine

PEDDAPALLI: The Singareni Collieries Company Limited has introduced the second Continuous miner machine at the GDK 11 incline underground mine for the extraction of coal and its transportation through conveyors from the seam in the Ramagundam-1 division on Friday.
RG-1 division area general manager K Narayana had formally introduced the continuous miner machine by performing traditional puja on Friday at the UG mine. Stating that the existing continuous miner machine in the GDK 11 incline had achieved several milestones in coal production, he hoped that the introduction of a second continuous machine would continue the legacy in the coal production in the underground mine.
He said that the continuous miner machine was secured from Shanthikhan in Bellampalli area and introduced at RG-1 GDK incline at 3rd seam. In the highly mechanised GDK 11 incline mine, the introduction of a second continuous miner machine from the month of September would increase the coal production, he said. CMOAI president P Srinivas, AGM (finance) Ramakrishna, Agents Ch Srinivas and Srinath, Area safety officer KV Rao, Area engineer Ram Murthy, DGMs Madahmohan, Sarotham and Anjaneya Prasad and others were also present.
