Scouts and Guide of Karimnagar felicitated in Hyderabad

KARIMNAGAR: Scout Masters Gangarapu Mallesham and Gangarapu Manohar and Guide Captain Konkati Sumalatha of Paramita high school in Karimnagar town were presented with the “Acharya Bhushan awards’ by the Non-government teachers and lecturers federation (NGTLF) at the Federation of Telangana chamber of commerce and trade at Red Hills in Hyderabad on Sunday.
Popular filmstar Suman in the presence of NGTLF founder and national convenor Vijay Singh and national director Sashikumar Nair had presented the awards to the Scoutmasters and Guide Captain and appreciated their services for the promotion of Scouts and Guides activities in the integrated Karimnagar district.
The Karimnagar Scoutmasters and Guide captain played a crucial role in transforming the student youth community by guiding them to participate in various social service programmes and join in NSS and NCC to serve the nation. They also actively participated in the environmental protection programmes of plantation of trees, blood donation camps and awareness programmes.
