Scoutmaster wins appreciations during state-level mapping course training

KARIMNAGAR: Bharath Scouts and Guides district headquarters Commissioner and Paramita High school Scoutmaster Gangarapu Mallesham has received the meritorious certificate for his participation and exemplary performance at the state-level training mapping specialised course organised at the Bharat Scouts and Guides state training centre in Hyderabad from October 29 to November 2.

Mr Mallesham received the award from Bharath Scouts and Guides state secretary Dr Manchala Varalaxmi, state organising commissioner Gudla Parameshwar, state assistant organising commissioner Errola Lingam during the closing ceremony of the mapping training course. The scouts were trained in different types of mapping for measuring a distance. They were also trained in climate mapping, physical maps, economic resource maps, road maps, topographic maps, military city maps and also the colouring of the maps etc. The scouts were also trained in map reading.
