KARIMNAGAR: In the wake of criticism from the general commuters of RTC over doubling the fares of the special buses introduced during the Dasara festivities, TSRTC managing director VC Sajjanar had instructed the RTC authorities operate special buses with normal fares without causing any burden on the commuters during the festival season.
“In order to provide better service and improve patronage of our services during the festival period, all services will be operated with normal fare and passengers should utilize this opportunity to travel in our RTC) buses safely”, the MD has stated.
Karimnagar RTC regional manager A Sridhar said that they would operate all special buses from Karimnagar to (JBS) Hyderabad and JBS to Karimnagar by collecting normal fares only from Sunday onward. He said that they had started operating special buses from JBS from October 5 to 15 onward and would be operating total of 600 buses.
Similarly, from Karimnagar to JBS, they would be operating special buses from October 16 to 19. They would operate 120 buses on October 16, 200 buses on October 17, 180 buses on October 18 and 100 buses on October 19. They had made arrangements for advance booking of tickers by logging www.tsrtconline.in.
