Residents’ plea to Cantonment legislator for road repairs

HYDERABAD: Residents of Shakthinagar, Ramakrishnapuram (RK puram) in Secunderabad city have urged Secunderabad Cantonment legislator G Sayannam to take up repairs and carpeting of arterial roads connecting Ammuguda railway station RoB and RK puram.

The Shakthinagar colony welfare association leaders led by its president P Narasinga Rao, secretary Col Krishna Swamy and others met the legislator at his camp office and submitted a memorandum in this regard. They stated that the road as an alternative to go to RK puram and lifeline for the residents of several other colonies such as Vani cooperative society, Shakthinagar colony, Gandhinagar colony, Chaiya cooperative society, Officers colony, Asha officers colony, Robert road, the new army colony and parts of RK puram colony.

They urged the legislator to take immediate necessary measures to take up repairs and carpeting of the roads to avoid accidents on the pothole-filled road and ensure the smooth passage of vehicular movement on the busy road.
