Rajanna-Sircilla SP warns stringent action against illegal sand mining and transportation
RAJANNA-SIRCILLA: Superintendent of Police Akhil Mahajan has warned the people involved in sand mafia of stringent action including registration of Preventive Detention (PD) Act.
Following the Task Force police seizing over 180 tractor loads of sand concealed in Kodumunja R&R colony on the outskirts of Vemulawada temple town on Thursday, the SP issued statement warning the people involved in illegal sand mining of stern action. He also warned the people supporting the people involved in sand mafia by encouraging the illegal mining and its storage secretly.
He appealed to the people to send messages to Your SP Whatsapp number 6303922572 directly so that the information would reach the SP and informants would not be disclosed. He said that they would be seizing the vehicles involved in sand mafia.
