Quami Ekta week observed at Sri Chaitanya engineering college

KARIMNAGAR: As part of the Quami Ekta week celebrations from November 19 to 25 observed across the country, the National Service Scheme (NSS) wing of Sri Chaitanya college of engineering on the outskirts of Karimnagar town had organised various programmes involving the NSS volunteers and other students to propagate the message of national integration, patriotism and communal harmony.

The college had organised various programmes such as national integration day, welfare of minorities day, linguistic harmony day, weaker sections day, cultural unity day, women’s day and conservation day. College chairman M Ramesh Reddy called upon the students to play an active role in nation building. Principal G Venkateshwarlu informed the students to participate in the social service programme as part of the responsible citizens.
As part of the celebrations, the NSS wing had organised essay writing, elocution, group discussions and cultural programmes by involving the students. NSS programme officers Madhu Ontela and D Satish Kumar, AO P Rama Rao and others were also present.
