Pushpa Yagam festival to be celebrated at Tirumala on November 19
TIRUMALA, NOVEMBER 17, 2023: The annual Pushpa yagam festival will be celebrated on a grand scale at the Tirumala temple shrine on November 19.
As a prelude to the festival, Ankurarpanam will be held on November 18 from 6 pm to 8 pm. After special pujas in the morning hours including archana and naivedyam, the temple priests would conduct pushpa yagam from 1 pm to 5 pm by using various varieties of flowers and aromatic leaves. Later, the presiding deities would be taken out in a procession in Mada streets for the darshan of the devotees.
On the occasion of Pushpa yagam, the TTD suspended the conduct of all arjita sevas including kalyanotsavams, arjita brahmotsavams, Unjal seva at the hill temple shrine
