PRTU Karimnagar district unit new office-bearers elected unanimously

KARIMNAGAR: Gone Srinivas and Pallepati Venugopal Rao have unanimously elected as the president and general secretary respectively of the Karimnagar district unit of Progressive Recognised Teachers Union (PRTU) Telangana.

The PRTU Karimnagar district general body meeting was organised in Karimnagar town on Sunday under the leadership of president Cholleti Srinivas. The elections for the new office-bearers were conducted under the leadership of state associate president Pothuri Raji Reddy.

The other office-bearers elected unanimously include; Associate presidents K Satyanarayana Reddy and I Jayasena Reddy, woman associate president K Kalpana.

Vice presidents K Madhukar Reddy, Manjula Srinivas and Yala Kondal Reddy, women vice presidents Pabba Jyothilaxmi and V Shyamala, secretary P Ramana Reddy and women secretaries Zeenath Sulthana and Ch Arundhathi Devi.

The new office-bearers passed resolution demanding the government to release pending four DA instalments, take up transfers and promotions of teachers, appointment of sanitary workers in all schools, issuance of appointment orders to part-time instructors, payment of PRC dues and the sanctioning of GPF ad TSGLI.
