Procession of flowers held at Tirumala as part of Pushpa yagam

TIRUMALA, NOVEMBER 19, 2023: In connection with Pushpa yagam on Sunday afternoon, a grand procession of flowers took place from the Garden Office to Tirumala temple shrine.

On this occasion, TTD EO AV Dharma Reddy, who performed special pujas to the various flowers in the Garden Office earlier, said in all a total of eight tonnes of 17 varieties of flowers and leaves are set ready to pay floral tributes to the presiding deities. Among these, four tonnes of flowers are from Tamil Nadu and two tonnes each from AP and TS. In the morning Snapana Tirumanjanam was performed to the deities, he added.

Tirumala temple DyEO Lokanatham, Garden Dy Director Srinivasulu and others were also present. In the Snapana Tirumanjanam held in the morning between 9am and 11am besides the TTD EO, Tirumala VGO Nanda Kishore, Peishkar Srihari, Parupattedar Uma Maheswara Reddy were also present. Pushpa Yagam will be observed between 1pm and 5pm.
