Police repair potholes riddled road in Ramagundam by doing shramdhan

PEDDAPALLI: Moved over the plight of road-users, who were facing several hardships due to pothole riddled road between Ramagundam sub-station areas to Old bazaar area for several months and lethargy on the authorities concerned, the Ramagundam police have filled the potholes by filling it with concrete and gravel by doing shramdhan (voluntary labour).

As part of the friendly community policing, the police team lead by Godavarikhani ACP Giri Prasad, CI Laxminarayana, Ramagundam SI Shailaja and others rushed to the spot and participated in the shramdhan by filling the potholed roads with concrete and gravel to ensure smooth flow of the traffic on the road and prevent accidents.

The police said that they had taken up the shramdhan programme to ensure smooth flow of vehicular traffic and avoid accidents. The police service of repairing a damaged road was hailed by the locals.
