Police commemoration week from Oct 15 to 21

NIZAMABAD: The Nizamabad Commissionerate of Police will observe the Police Martyrs’ commemoration from October 15 to 21 by organising various programmes and pay tributes to the police personnel who laid down their lives while discharging duties.
In a press note here today, CP Karthikeya said that they would organise programmes in Nizamabad, Armoor and Bodhan divisions. They would be organising series of programmes such as the conduct of the ‘Open house” programme of allowing the students to visit the police stations as part of friendly policing. They would also organise essay writing competitions, painting and drawing competitions for students and also for the police personnel family members. They would conduct a counselling session with the family members of police martyrs’.
They would also organise a mass blood donation camp and pay tributes to the police martyrs by organising a ceremonial parade at the headquarters. The CP informed all the police personnel to attend the programme without fail.
