He had stated that he had lodged a complaint with ED and Central Bureau of India (CBI) in New Delhi on July 8 and 10, 2021 respectively demanding action against the illegal granite quarry operations and export of granite by evading taxes. Mr Mahender Reddy demanded that the state government should take stern action against the 9 granite companies including one company owned by the relatives of the Minister.
