PETs to be deployed as invigilators for Intermediate exams

KARIMNAGAR: In order to ensure smooth conduct of Intermediate examinations scheduled to be held from October 25 to November 2, the district education department had deployed Physical Education Teachers (PET) as the invigilators to avoid disturbance of academic schedule by deploying the regular government teachers.
Following the request made by the District intermediate education officer (DIEO) for the deployment of teachers for the conduct of Intermediate first year examinations as the invigilators, the Karimnagar district educational authorities had decided to deploy PETs instead of teachers to avoid disturbance of the academic schedule in the government schools, which were reopened recently after the outbreak of the pandemic virus.
The deployment of non-academicians for the invigilation duties would not have any impact on the school academic schedule. Hence, the concerned schools’ headmasters were instructed to relieve the PETs deployed for the invigilation duties of the Intermediate examinations.
