Peddapalli RDO suspended on charges of corruption

PEDDAPALLI: Peddapalli RDO and incharge of Ramagundam Municipal Corporation K Shankar Kumar, who was trapped by sleuths of ACB (anti-corruption bureau) along with his private associate, was suspended by the state government on Thursday night.
It may be recalled that the Peddapalli RDO was caught red-handed by the ACB authorities when he demanded and accepted a bribe of Rs 1 lakh from a contractor for clearance of bill to the tune of Rs 9.38 lakhs on November 30.
Following the report submitted by the ACB authorities, the state government had issued suspension orders of the Peddapalli RDO.
