Parliament Committee all praise for NTPC Ramagundam for implementation of official Hindi language
VIJAYAWADA (AP), AUGUST 22, 2023: The Parliament Committee on official language appreciated the NTPC Ramagundam for the implementation of the official language policy of the Union Government in an inspection meeting held at Vijayawada on August 21, 2023.
Deputy Chairman of the Committee and Member of the Parliament Bhartruhari Mahtab said that NTPC is doing good job in the implementation of the official language policy of the Government in addition to the power generation.
Also, the convener of the 2nd Sub-committee and Member of Parliament Prof Rita Bahuguna Joshi said that NTPC Ramagundam’s official language activities are commendable. The committee also gave some guidance and valuable suggestions for making official language implementation more effective and impactful.
Welcoming the committee members, Mr Kedar Ranjan Pandu, Chief General Manager of NTPC Ramagundam, apprised ‘Rajbhasha’ activities of NTPC Ramagundam and Telangana in detail. He also assured the committee to achieve the prescribed target of the Government for implementation of official language policy.
Later, the Committee handed over the certificate of inspection which was received by CGM Kedar Ranjan Pandu, along with another NTPC official C Kumar, CGM HR NTPC Corporate Centre, Bijoy Kumar Sikdar AGM HR NTPC Ramagundam, Atar Singh Gautam DGM Rajbhasha NTPC Corporate Centre, Adesh Kumar Pandey, Senior Manager Rajbhasha NTPC Ramagundam. Joint Secretary D Saibaba and Assistant Director Anil Kumar of the Ministry of Power were also present on the occasion.
