Paramita teacher honoured with Global Teacher Award
KARIMNAGAR: Mr Lalit Mohan Sahu, the senior faculty and Project Based Learning resource person from Paramita Heritage School of Karimnagar town has been honoured with AKS Global Teacher Award for the academic year 2022-23 by AKS global Academy.
The award was presented to Mr Sahu at a function organized by the AKS Education Society in New Delhi on November 6, 2022, for his outstanding achievements, high dedication and exemplary professionalism in the field of education for the last two decades. The Ambassador of Croatia to India Peter Liubicic and the CEO of AKS Education Society Dr R.Kamra presented the award comprising a Trophy, Plaque, Award Winner’s Badge and Award Winner’s Medal.
Mr Sahu has been selected for the most prestigious Global Teacher Award 2022 on the basis of nomination and his merit and received the award among other award winners from nearly 110 countries.
Global Teacher Award recognises and celebrates excellence in education on a global scale. This award aims to identify and recognise exceptional teachers who have made an outstanding contribution to their profession in teaching different subjects and serving the community through teaching even outside the formal classroom in any corner of the world.
Mr Sahu has also been honoured with the Best Teacher Award by the Government of Telangana this year. Apart from this, he has received the Global Achievement award, Micro Innovation Award, Guru Brahma award and Mentor Excellence award for his valuable contributions to the field of education in the past as well. He has also been honoured and designated as the Innovation Ambassador of the Ministry of Education for creating the design thinking and innovation ecosystem in the school.
He has also a very good track record of participating in various National and International seminars as well. He has recently presented a paper on Project Based Learning titled “Developing Scientific temper in students through transdisciplinary PBL approach by solving Local challenges and issues. The seminar was conducted by SCERT, Telangana on 28 Feb 2022 on the eve of National Science day at Hyderabad.
Mr Sahu is also well known for his practical implementation of innovative teaching methodologies in the classroom and developed many Edutainment activities. He is very passionate and much involved in various teaching areas like Vedic Mathematics, Science, Music,Psychology, and origami.
He is also the Chief Coordinator of the VIPNET Science club approved and established by the Vigyan Prasar Network Of Science Clubs(VIPNET)in the School, an independent body under the Ministry Of Science And Technology, Govt. Of India and the Chief Coordinator of SPIC MACAY Culture and Heritage Club approved and established by the Central Board Of Secondary Education(CBSE) in Paramita Heritage School.
On this occasion Mr E Prasad Rao the Chairman of Paramita Group of Schools, Board of directors Mrs Prasoona, Mrs Rashmitha, Mr Rakesh, Mr AnukarMr.VUM Prasad Mr Vinod and Mr Sanjoy, the Principal and staff members of CBSE School appreciated Mr Lalit Mohan Sahu for being bestowed with the Global Teacher Award.
