KARIMNAGAR: The Paramita Explorica International (Cambridge) school in Jyothinagar locality in Karimnagar town has bagged the prestigious Swachch Vidyalaya -2022 State award for sanitation and cleanliness from the state government.
At a programme organised in Hyderabad on the occasion of Teachers day on September 5, 2022, Explorica school principal Sharmista received the award from MLCs Sarvotham Reddy and K Janardhan Reddy and School Education Director Sri Devasena. Minister for Education P Sabitha Indra Reddy, Home Minister Mahmood Ali, Minister for Cinematography T Srinivas Yadav and others were also present.
Incidentally, Explorica was the only private school from the entire integrated Karimnagar district to bag the prestigious ‘Swachch Vidyalaya’ award, which carries a memento and certificate. In a statement here on Wednesday (September 7, 2022), Paramita educational institutions chairman E Prasada Rao said that the school bag the award for sanitation, cleanliness and adhering to the Covid norms.
Besides, the maintenance of toilets, encouraging the children to hand-wash and the attitude of the children in following the cleanliness and maintaining sanitation had helped the school secure the State award, he stated.
