NTPC RED Sanjay Madan all praise for steady progress of NTPC Telangana project

PEDDAPALLI: NTPC Regional Executive Director (WR-II and SR) Sanjay Madan was all praise for the NTPC Ramagundam officials for the steady progress and excellent efforts made in the progress of the 1600 MWs Telangana super thermal power project amidst Covid disruptions.

Mr Madam was on a day-long visit to the NTPC Ramagundam and Telangana on Monday and reviewed the progress of the NTPC Ramagundam, Telangana power project phase-1, 100 MWs of floating solar power plant and 10 MWs of the surface solar power plant. Mr Madam along with senior officials visited Unit#7, Unit#3 and Unit#5 FGD area of Ramagundam plant and Unit#2 Transformer yard area and CCR at the Telangana Project.

Charging of Unit Auxiliary Transformer 2A at Telangana Project was also done in the presence of Mr Sanjay Madan and other senior officials. The RED interacted with employees at the site and appreciated their excellent efforts amidst Covid disruption.

Senior Officials from NTPC-Ramagundam/Telangana and Regional Headquarters were accompanied by the Chief Guest during the site visit and review.

The occasion was also marked with the felicitation of Mr Sanjay Madan. senior officials from NTPC-Ramagundam/Telangana led by  Sunil Kumar, CGM felicitated Mr Madan for his illustrious career spanning 37 years and his contribution to the NTPC. Office bearers of Unions and Associations also felicitated the RED.
