NTPC Ramagundam celebrates Diwali with pomp and gaiety

PEDDAPALLI: The NTPC Ramagundam and Telangana celebrated Diwali, the festival of lights,with pomp and gaiety by organizing various cultural programmes on Friday night in the township.

The NTPC commemorated the five-day Diwali festival of togetherness by lighting the embers of joy which was organized by the Spandana in a grand manner. Sunil Kumar, President Spandana, CGM (Ramagundam & Telangana) inaugurated the celebrations and addressed the gathering educating about the prominence of five-day Diwali celebrations and greeting all the members.

The event started with classical & western dances by the children and melodious songs by the members, ladies and children. The skit played by the children won accolades from the gathering. The crowd-puller was the western dance, Dandiya and magical show which was a smashing success. Fireworks Display at the end of the program was a kick-starter for Diwali.
