PEDDAPALLI: The NTPC-Ramagundam has organized a two-day online training programme on “Reservation Policy” on Monday and Tuesday wherein employees and office bearers of SC/ST association participated in large numbers.
The resource person of the occasion, C C Unnikrishnan, retired Dy Secy, the government of India spoke in detail on the constitutional provisions pertaining to the reservations, its objective, implications, and latest amendments. He also underlined the importance of awareness on “Reservation Policy” to achieve social justice as intended in the Indian Constitution. Besides sharing some case studies, Mr Unnikrishnan replied to queries from the participants on the subject.
Speaking at the closing ceremony, GM (O&M) Soumendra Das appreciated the faculty and the participants to make the online training more interesting and insightful. Echoing a similar view, Head of HR M Vijaya Lakshmi asked the participants to remain updated on the reservation policy and using the same in true spirit for the benefit of self and society as well.
