PEDDAPALLI: NTPC Ramagundam Additional General Manager (HR) Mrs Vijaya Lakshmi Muraleedharan on Saturday (August 27) conferred with the Hindi Sahitya Bharti Gaurav Samman by Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak.
The event was organized on August 27 Deen Dayal Auditorium, Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh. She was presented with a Citation, Angavastram and fruits.
On this occasion, Swami Sharswatanand Ji Giri, former Governor Chhattisgarh Dr Shekhar Dutt, former Governor Haryana Prof Kaptan Singh Ji Solanki, Vice Chancellor Vikram Vishwavidyalaya Ujjain Akhilesh Pandey, Director General of Bharatiya Jan Sanchar Sansthan, New Delhi Prof Sanjay Dwivedi, President of Hindi Sahitya Bharti and former Education Minister Ravindra Shukla were present.
This award has been given to Mrs Vijaya Lakshmi for her remarkable efforts toward establishing the constitutional pride of Hindi as the official language. In technical areas like power plants and NTPC corporate culture, Hindi works were given full publicity and encouraged employees to use Hindi. Vijaya Lakshmi is of the view that the loyalty that we have towards our mother tongue in our home, we should have the same loyalty towards Hindi the official language in the office.
She herself signs Hindi, writes comments in Hindi, sends emails in Hindi, writes letters in Hindi and replies to letters received in Hindi. This is the reason that during his tenure, NTPC’s projects have been awarded many times by the Department of Official Language, the Government of India and other reputed institutions.
NTPC Ramagundam Chief General Manager (R&T) Sunil Kumar and other members of Team Ramagundam extended warm greetings to her.
