NSS volunteers participate in clean India programme at Satavahana University

KARIMNAGAR: More than 100 National Service Scheme volunteers belonging to the Satavahana University have participated in the Clean India programme at the University sports ground on the varsity campus on the outskirts of Karimnagar town on Monday.

University Vice Chancellor S Mallesham had formally inaugurated the programme and participated in the cleaning programme by using the spade. The volunteers have actively participated in the cleanliness drive by removing the weeds and shrubs and also plastic materials from the campus grounds. NSS programme coordinator Dr K Srivani, Registrar M Varaprasad and others were also present.
