Karimnagar sportsperson Mudham Kishan selected for the “National Sports Ratna” award
KARIMNAGAR: Ace lawn-tennis player and Singareni employee and resident of Suryanagar in Karimnagar town Mudham Kishan was selected for the “National Sports Ratna” award which would be presented on March 12, 2023, in Tirupathi.
The award was announced by Bahujan Sahitya Academy national president Nalla Radhakrishna and general secretary G Vishnuvardhan on Monday (January 30, 2023). Mr Kishan had won several awards and medals in the district, state and national level lawn tennis competitions for the last three decades.
On his selection for the national sports award, TSTU state general secretary Chanduri Raji Reddy, local residents Mahender Reddy, Tirupathi, Gopal Reddy, Veera Reddy, Sagar Reddy, Ram Reddy, Bandari Swamy, Sampath Reddy, Madhukar Reddy and others congratulated Kishan.
