National Doctors’ Day-2021: Doctors’ Contribution Lauded

PEDDAPALLI: The National Doctors’ Day was celebrated on July 01, 2021 at NTPC-Ramagundam to honour the legendary physician and the second Chief Minister of West Bengal, Dr Bidhan Chandra Roy.

Sunil Kumar, CGM-Ramagundam & Telangana; Dr Anil Kumar, Mayor, Ramagundam Municipal Corporation; Soumendra Das, GM (O&M); Prasenjit Pal, GM (Project); Dr. E R Murthy, CMO; Vijaya Lakshmi M, Head of HR alongwith Dr Pramod Kumar, DMHO, Peddapalli; Dr P Krupa Bai, Dy DMHO, Peddapalli; Dr D Anil, President, IMA and other dignitaries garlanded Dr Bidhan Chandra Roy and highlighted his contribution.

Speaking on the occasion, Shri Sunil Kumar termed Doctors are second to God and their contribution in fight against Covid-19 is really noteworthy. He further appreciated District Medical Authority and Local Administration for extending help in Covid vaccination of NTPC employees and associate agencies workers.  Sharing his view, Ramagundam Mayor Dr Anil Kumar who himself is doctor highlighted doctors’ contribution in normal as well Pandemic time like Covid-19.

Earlier, CMO Dr Murthy welcomed the dignitaries and briefed on the major activities from Dhanwanthari Hospital. The occasion also marked a presentation by Dr Archana Jamwal highlighting efforts made by Dhanwanthari Hospital in fight against Covid-19.

During this occasion, doctors and sisters from Govt Hospital felicitated for their excellent services.
