NAFSCOB chairman informs DCCBs to strengthen PACS, the pillars of cooperatives

NALGONDA:  Mr Konduru Ravinder Rao, chairman of NAFSCOB, TSCAB and Karimnagar DCCB, has called upon the DCCBs to play a crucial role to strengthen the Primary Agriculture Cooperative Societies (PACS), which are the pillars of the cooperatives, by diversifying the business activities on par with the bank.

Participating as chief guest at the Nalgonda District Cooperative Central Bank (DCCB) general body meeting in Nalgonda on Friday (March 24), Mr Ravinder Rao said that the PACS should all services to the farmers at their door step in the villages. Stating that the Telangana state had emerged as role model in the implementation of welfare schemes to the farmers, he said that government was taking all measures to make agriculture viable and profitable to the farmers.

Earlier, Mr Ravinder Rao inaugurated the mobile ATM of the DCCB. Minister Jagadesh Reddy, legislator Gogidi Sunitha Mahender Reddy, Nalgonda DCCB chairman Gongidi Mahender Reddy, directors and others were also present. The Nalgonda DCCB team felicitated Mr Ravinder Rao for bringing several reforms in cooperative sector.
